Transparencies I
I don't really have a title for this piece. Last spring I took Laura Cater-Wood's Idea to Image workshop and created 3 pieces over the course of two days. Well, at least I *started* 3 pieces that I wanted to finish.
This one has been almost finshed for a while; I was in a big quandry about how to finish it off. Well, I finally found staples for the staple gun and now it's mounted to the stretcher bars and ready for the finishing touches. I'm going to couch some fibers along the edge and stitch it all down with a blanket stitch.

Mary, my goodness. islands, or wet rocks or layers of detritus under the water. there's a definite relationship to the new pieces IMO.
of course, i want to SEE all these pieces together so we can talk about the relationships... actually this should be a private email, eh?
